CHRIST CHURCH UNITED METHODIST

YOUR VIRTUAL WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

What are worship services like?

Our services blend joyful music, heartfelt prayer, and relevant preaching rooted in God’s Word. You’ll experience a welcoming community where everyone is encouraged to participate and feel at home.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! Some people dress casually, others wear their Sunday best—you’ll see a little of everything. The most important thing is that you’re comfortable.

How do I get connected?

We’d love to meet you! Connect with us online by viewing our virtual worship service or come visit us in person on Sundays. Our Worship service begins at 11am during the year and 10 am during July and August. Stop by the welcome table after service, fill out a connection card, or join us for fellowship time. You can also explore small groups and find out about our many events and programs, Bible studies, or volunteer opportunities. Just speak to one of our ushers or current members.

If you are connecting online, just fill out our Connect Card and a member of our ministry will reach back out to you. We also offer a 1-hour virtual Bible Study on Wednesdays, 6:30pm. Join us each week and invite a friend to join us too, as we go deeper into God’s Word.

Is there something for children, youth, and teens to do?

Yes! Children and youth can learn about God in a fun and safe environment. Then during our Sunday Worship Services our children and youth are always welcome to worship together with their families. On select weeknights we have gatherings for our older teens in our Bounce Back Ministry where they also learn about God in a fun engaging way. On the 4th and 5th Sundays, our young people play a role in leading services and serve as ushers.

Do I need to bring a Bible, or will scriptures be provided?

You’re welcome to bring your own, but don’t worry—we project scriptures during service and provide Bibles for anyone who needs one.

How long are the worship services?

Services usually last about 75–90 minutes. We value your time while also leaving space for worship, prayer, and reflection.

What happens after service—are there opportunities for fellowship?

Absolutely! We invite you to stay for prayer, meet our Pastor, and engage in conversation with our members. It’s a great way to meet new people and to begin building relationships.

Special Note for First-Time Visitors

If it’s your first Sunday with us, you’ll find friendly ushers ready to help you find your way—from finding seating, knowing where the restrooms are, and getting a program. Plan to arrive about 10–15 minutes early so you can settle in, meet our church family, and get comfortable before service begins. We can't wait to meet you!
