The Garden Ministry has been a part of CCUM for over 10 years in partnership with City Green and Public School #13. Over the years, students have visited the church to learn about growing food from garden to table and received small plants to care for as a gift. Also, our Ministry leader has demonstrated proper planting techniques to children and has taught them about various fruits and vegetables. Each year, the harvested produce is shared with the community before Thanksgiving.
